Enterprise Ireland An Taoiseach-led Trade Mission to Japan
Enterprise Ireland aims to position Japan as an important part of Ireland's global strategy and significantly increase Irish business involvement with Japan. Japan is a good place to do business - a mature, sophisticated and wealthy market with very well developed infrastructures and strong business integrity. It is also the second biggest economy in the world and the largest economy - and trend setter - in Asia. Continuous deregulation, globalisation and the healthy state of the Japanese economy are creating new opportunities for Ireland in the land of the rising sun.
Enterprise Ireland is organising a Trade Mission which will be led by An Taoiseach, Mr. Brian Cowen, T.D. The purpose of the Mission is to draw attention to the growing potential for Irish business in Japan and to help Irish companies to capitalise on these opportunities.
The mission will visit the 2 main cities in Japan - Tokyo and Osaka - and the itinerary will include high profile networking receptions in both cities, economic and sectoral briefings, sector events and a major press conference. Several of the events will offer photo and announcement opportunities. We recommend building individual meetings specific to your business around the group itinerary to add the effectiveness of your participation.
