Japan Earthquake Appeal

We would like to make you aware of an Earthquake Appeal Fund that has been set up by the Ireland Japan Association (IJA). As of June 22nd, they have collected a total of €162,401 of which €160,000 has been sent to the Japanese Red Cross directly.

The IJA are the official business and cultural network based in Ireland whose patron guest is the Ambassador of Japan in Ireland, currently Mr Chihiro Atsumi. It is run by a council of 14 business and individual members, all of whom volunteer their time to promoting greater ties between Ireland and Japan.
