About our Self Guided Tours

Our Japan Self Guided Tours are ideal if you are feeling a bit more adventurous but still want things organised for you. You choose your own schedule, then we arrange things like internal transport (using the Japan Rail Pass), hotels, local guides in both city & rural areas, authentic cultural activities, festival and events, onsen experiences, or indeed, what ever you request! We have spent a lot of time in Japan researching the best routes to take and places to see. We take your ideas and add our own finishing touches to produce a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the very best Japan has on offer. If you have no ideas whatsoever, don't worry, we have lots. • Peace of mind: You will be met on arrival at Narita Airport to give you a helping hand with your transfer. Our hands on assistant will help you make the necessary train reservations when exchanging your Japan Rail Pass Coupon
• Flexibility: Although most days are left open for you to choose your own schedule, we offer recommendations or optional (self guided) excursions from certain areas

• Quality, (Tried & Tested) Hotels: we have selected a combination of 2 and 3 star hotels for our standard plans and 4 star plus hotels for our superior plans. All tours include at least two nights in a traditional Japanese ryokan (recommended)
