Itinerary

Day 1: Ease into Kyoto's Elegance

Upon your arrival at Kansai International Airport, a private transfer will guide you to the historical heart of Japan—Kyoto. After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast with scenic views at your boutique hotel, take the morning to unwind and acclimatise to the calm elegance of this ancient city.

In the afternoon, venture out to explore Kyoto’s quaint streets and hidden alleyways, soaking in the ambience of a city that has been the epicentre of Japanese culture for over a millennium. Day 2: Riding through Time: Kyoto's Sunrise and Nara's Legacy

YAMATOYA HOTEN DOGO ONSEN

Since 1868 Yamatoya Honten has been providing hospitality infused with tradition. Situated near the symbol of Dogo Onsen town, close to the Honkan bathhouse and a 5-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Tram Station. Renewed and reborn in 1996 with a contemporary approach to hospitality in this historic setting. Traditional techniques in architecture appear in Japanese-style rooms and are based on a tea ceremony room. exquisite craftsmanship for a refined simplicity. A fine Kyoto Nishijin sourced soil becomes Juraku mud to create a rustic finish on walls. A standard room in the traditional style will be composed of ten tatami mats, and offers an enclosed veranda and alcove. Every spacious 484 sq ft/45 sq m area room is distinct, with unique ceiling, and latticework. Simple and contemporary Western-style rooms are ensuite and single rooms come with a massage chair.
